Invalidating session in javascript michigandatingsite com

You may be able to artifically create a notification when the browser closes using the javascript on Unload() command, but this isn't a great idea as many people disable that command due to is being used to create advertising popups.

I will try and put the problem differently: I have a web application which presents a login page to the user.

User enters his user id and password and is logged in.

If you set the timeout to -1 that means "never" but I've seen some people say that it means "when the browser closes".

We do not have to inform the container about such objects explicitly via the deployment descriptor.

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to logout a user (invalidate his Session) when auser directly closes his browser window. Once you invalidate the session , how can a user do a back and refresh and access the same ( already invalidated ) session..??

Even if the JSESSIONID is still present the session whose ID it is holding is already invalidated , so how can you get that session back My point is when you say session.invalidate() the session object is destroyed , so even if you use the same browser which will use the same JSESSIONID how will you be able to access an object( the session in this case ) after it has been destroyed..??
